Canggu Bali

Canggu is 45 minutes from the airport and the area most people have seen on Instagram before they ever land in Bali. It’s known for three things: the surf at Batu Bolong, the cafe and co-working scene that runs through Berawa and Echo Beach, and the nightlife that keeps going well past midnight. First-timers end up here because everything is easy from good food, consistent waves, plenty of other travelers. Digital nomads stay for weeks because the wifi is fast and the coffee is better than it has any right to be. It gets packed in July, August, and December. Book early for those months or expect to pay more for less.
