Uluwatu sits on the southern tip of the Bukit Peninsula, about 45 minutes from the airport. I’ve lived here for over a year, and it’s the part of Bali that keeps people coming back. The cliff-top temple, the surf breaks at Bingin and Padang Padang, the reformer studios, the sunset warungs,  it’s all within a 10-minute scooter ride. It’s quieter than Canggu, less developed than Seminyak, and better for it. Best for surfers, wellness travelers, and anyone who wants real Bali without the chaos.
