Best Reformer Pilates Ubud Bali (2026 Guide)

I tried through every Pilates Ubud Bali studio on this list firsthand, these are my top picks for Pilates in Ubud, Bali depending on what you need. I completed my yoga teacher training in Ubud and spent extended periods living there between trips back to my base in Uluwatu. Pilates was already part of my routine, so I worked out at the studios here the same way I did in Uluwatu: by showing up and taking classes. Everything below comes from that.

The Ubud Pilates scene is smaller than Uluwatu or Canggu, but what is here is genuinely good. You have a boutique reformer studio with jungle-view coffee, a sports-science-led reformer space, the most equipment-heavy studio in all of Bali, and a small appointment-only setup with Cadillac access. Classes run IDR 200,000–300,000 per session, $18 USD.

🌸 The Collective Club

Pilates Ubud Bali : The Collective Club
Class IDRUSD
3-class reformer trialIDR 600,000$36
Drop-in reformerIDR 300,000$18
10-class reformer packIDR 2,500,000$151

The Collective Club is the most well-known reformer studio in Ubud, and I keep going back not only for the classes but also for the second-floor coffee bar with a jungle view that makes staying after class genuinely worth it. The studio offers reformer, mat, and barre across levels 1 to 3, which is a more structured progression than most boutique studios bother with, and the instructors move around the room, giving live form cues throughout rather than just at the start.

First-timers can grab a 3-class reformer trial for IDR 600,000 or $36 USD. The vibe is come-for-class-and-leave rather than community-focused, which suits some people just fine, and if you are on ClassPass, this is one of the easiest places in Ubud to redeem credits.

🌸 Pilates.Ubud

Pilates.Ubud studio is in Lodtunduh, about a 10-minute scooter ride south of Monkey Forest Road. Class prices start at IDR 290,000 per drop-in, making it one of the more affordable reformer options in Ubud, and it is on ClassPass, so new members can use their free trial credit here. T

The cueing is specific, the progressions are deliberate, and the sessions are designed to build strength and mobility together, making it worth trying if you come from a CrossFit or functional fitness background and have been skeptical about whether Pilates would actually challenge you. Also, make sure to bring grip socks when you visit this studio; they are required.

Class IDRUSD
3-class reformer trialIDR 590,000$36
Drop-in reformerIDR 290,000$18
10-class reformer packIDR 2,500,000$151

🌸 Movement Matters Pilates Bali

Movement Matters is one of the OGs of Pilates in Bali and still the most serious studio in Ubud when it comes to rehabilitation and instructor quality. If you are recovering from an injury or dealing with chronic pain, this is the one to book. They offer Rolfing Structural Integration alongside Pilates, and their teachers are trained through Body Harmonics, an internationally accredited program that goes well beyond what most Bali studios require of their instructors.

I have not been here for a full rehab program myself, but the level of detail in the cueing and the way instructors assess your movement before class tells you everything about how seriously they take it.

10-class packDR 2,968,000$174

🌸 Tone Pilates Studio

Tone is one of the newest Pilates studios in Ubud and is already one of my favorites in the area. The space is clean, aesthetic, and smells good the moment you walk in. The small details tell you how much thought went into it. What I liked most is how the instructors actually adjust to everyone in the room without making it obvious, so even if you are newer to reformer, you never feel behind.

The cueing is clear enough that you can close your eyes and follow along, which, honestly, says a lot about the quality of the instruction. It runs by appointment only, so message them on WhatsApp at +62 8132 5127 406 before you go.

What to Know Before You Visit Pilates Studios in Ubud

A few things I learned from going through these studios that are worth knowing before you show up. Grip socks are non-negotiable at reformer studios so I always keep a pair in my bag now, but if you forget, The Collective Club sells them at reception for IDR 50,000 or $3 USD.

Morning slots between 7–9AM fill up fast, especially at The Collective Club and Pilates.Ubud during July–August and December–January, so I’d book at least a day ahead rather than assuming you can walk in. Most studios run a 12-hour cancellation window, and a no-show means you lose that class from your pack I learned that the hard way early on.

If it is your first time at a studio, show up 5–10 minutes early so the instructor can note any injuries before class starts. They will adjust for you, but only if they know.

My Recommendation for Pilates Studios in Ubud

If I were sending a friend to Ubud for the first time and they wanted Pilates, I would tell them to start with The Collective Club the classes are well-run, the levels are clearly structured, and the coffee with a jungle view after class makes the whole morning feel worth it. If they had a fitness background and wanted something that would actually challenge them, I would send them to Pilates.Ubud instead.

For anyone staying longer or dealing with an injury they need to work around, Movement Matters is the one I have not seen that level of instructor training or equipment variety anywhere else in Ubud. And if they wanted something smaller and more personal, Tone is worth the extra step of messaging ahead.
